A curriculum vitae is a way to sell yourself. When there is a hiring, one must submit a cv if interested in the job or when inquiring for any job vacancies. The mere purpose of cv is to make you attractive, good, perfect for the job. Having a perfect cv can invite many job interviews. In a single vacant job, there can be hundreds applying for that job, so one must be good in making his or her cv.

Below are steps to make a cv:

Step 1: Type your name and address at the top of the CV. Put it in the center using a standard font. This is done to make sure that the employer can see it if they want to contact you. Record your educational history form elementary and college or if you have any postgraduate courses. Also, include your degree, bachelor or master’s degree. It is important to include the date you finished the degree and the institution where you took it. If you graduated with excellence or award, including it in the list would be an added point.

Step 2: List any trainings and seminars you have attended. The more seminar and trainings, the more chances of being chosen especially if seminars and trainings are related to the job at hand.

Step 3: Write down any area of specialization. This may include any area you are best at even if you have not worked in that area. You also may include any specific interest such as writing, teaching, reading and surfing the web. This may help you as your interest may be applied in the vacant job.
